When booking accommodation online through www.info-rotorua.com ("Info-rotorua.com") you ("the customer") agree to the following terms and conditions:

General Policies

  1. A Non-refundable 10% deposit is paid to info-rotorua.com to secure you booking, with the balance paid directly to the accommodation provider on arrival.
  2. No booking fee is being taken for this transaction. 
  3. Info-rotorua.com provides a website for accommodation providers to sell room inventory.
  4. Each accommodation provider maintains and updates their room inventory and property information on the Info-rotorua.com website.
  5. Info-rotorua.com does not take responsibility for unavailability of rooms caused by the accommodation provider over selling its room inventory by displaying rooms online for which it does not have availability.
  6. Info-rotorua.com is committed to ensuring that the information on its website is accurate, but does not guarantee that the site is free from errors or omissions.
  7. Info-rotorua.com does not accept liability for any errors or omissions.
  8. Info-rotorua.com reserves the right to alter information published on the website if it is deemed incorrect or misleading.
  9. Info-rotorua.com does not take responsibility for the quality or suitability of any accommodation, product or service advertised on the website.
  10. Info-rotorua.com does not accept liability for any direct or indirect loss arising from the use of or indirect use of the accommodation, product or service purchased through the website.
  11. Info-rotorua.com ensures that all personal information is kept secure and will not be passed on to any third party.
  12. Emails confirming bookings made on Info-rotorua.com are sent instantly to the email address you provide when making your booking. Sometimes there may be delays in receiving your email confirmation due to factors outside of the control of Info-rotorua.com. If you have not received your booking confirmation via email within 24 hours please contact Info-rotorua.com and a new booking confirmation will be issued.
  13. The customer must be 18 years or older to book accommodation through Info-rotorua.com.

Cancellation & Amendment Policies

  1. The 10% deposit paid is non refundable.
  2. Info-rotorua.com adheres to the accommodation provider's individual cancellation policy.
  3. ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN WRITING and emailed to the Accommodation email address sent in reply to the booking confirmation sent following your original booking. A copy must also be sent to cancellation@info-rotorua.com. Please state your booking ID, email address, first name and surname.
  4. All cancellations must be confirmed by the Accommodation email address sent in reply to the booking confirmation sent following your original booking. If you have not received a confirmation of your cancellation request within 24 hours of submission, it means we have not received it and you must resubmit it.
  5. If a cancellation policy applies then the following is valid:.
    *** Within the Accommodation Provider's Cancellation Policy Timeframe ***
    i.    If the Customer cancels a booking within the accommodation provider's cancellation policy timeframe stated on the accommodation provider's page within www.info-rotorua.com and on the customer's confirmation e-mail, or the customer fails to show on the day/evening of the booking,  the full deposit to Info-rotorua.com is non-refundable.
    ii.    The customer authorizes Info-rotorua.com to provide the accommodation provider with the customer's credit card details for full or part reparation of the amount owed on the customer's confirmation e-mail, depending on the individual accommodation provider's policy.
    iii.    The accommodation provider may if they choose, debit the customer's credit card for the balance owed as per the accommodation provider's cancellation policy. If the accommodation provider is unable to debit the outstanding amount from the customer's credit card, due to insufficient funds, then the accommodation provider may seek compensation through the normal legal channels.
    *** Booking Amendments ***
    i.    AMENDMENTS MUST BE IN WRITING and emailed to the Accommodation email address sent in reply to the booking confirmation sent following your original booking. A copy must also be sent to cancellation@info-rotorua.com. Please state your booking ID, email address, first name and surname.
    ii.   An administration charge of $20.00 will apply to all amendments. Info-rotorua.com reserves the right to deduct this amount from the customer's credit card.
